A little about the artist
- Jim Preece
- Born in Kidderminster Worcestershire England in 1946
- Married to Diane with four children
- Studied painting, pottery, glass making & design and lithography at Stourbridge School of Art
- Awarded a Bursary by Royal Society of Arts LONDON in 1970 - Life Fellow of RSA
- 1971 traveled through Mexico studying Central American Art
- November 1971 moved to Melbourne Australia working as a carpet designer
- July 1976 moved to Sydney where he lives with Diane in the Northern Beaches area
- Loves music, rugby and good food

Palm Beach remains Australia's "Jewel in the Crown".
